GRAND: How to take your shot at the american dream
Before Gene set his sights on the business world, he was learning to hit a target by mastering the sport of trap shooting. Trap shooting taught Gene the lessons of patience, hard work, ambition, and determination that molded him into a business leader.

For ten years during the 1960s and 1970s, Gene shot both with the United States International Trap Team and individually all over the nation and the world to rack up an impressive record of wins. Instead of simply enjoying the fruits of his long life of competition and work, however, Gene wants to influence current and future young American leaders.

He’s proven over a lifetime that being an American affords everyone a range of truly grand opportunities. In Grand: How to Take Your Shot at the American Dream, Gene shares with everyone the knowledge and skills that helped make his life grand.

"Gene inducted me into the firearms industry, teaching me the skills to help me advance to the next level. Gene will always be that Grand man that showed me the world, which led to all that I have today."
